as we walk through our life
we realized that we were merely looking for people who are the same with us
so that we'll feel good being recognized
looking for people who thinks like us
so that we could share the common identity
we were merely looking for a place
a place safe enough for us to be in
away from hurts
a someone safe, who will tolerate our nonsensical actions
a someone safe, who feel its OK for us to be ourselves
so at the end of the day
are we living our lives, our lives?
or
are we living our lives, pleasing people?
or
are we living our lives, seeking people's approval?
or
anything other than for ourselves?
