How is "I failed without trying" more dignifying than "I tried and failed"?
it was my friend's facebook's wall post
my reply was
"NO extra efforts TRYING are WASTED"
one guy reply
"its less"
then i replied
"its just a different perspectives of doing things.. for example: Would you go and TRY to do something which God wouldn't 'approve' or 'allow'? Then how justifiable that you said TRIED and FAILED is more dignifying than FAILED w/o TRYING since you DID NOT even TRY to do what God wouldn't approve? :)
another guy reply
"its the wisdom gained through trying"
i was too lazy to start one whole page of essay to counter each and every of their argument
basically
UP TO YOU to decide
whether its worth trying or is it not
some feels that its worth to do this and sacrifice that
however, some felt otherwise
so, its basically your perception of the situation and the weightage of each components involved
